Mateo has Masters in Computer Security (Spain) from UNIR University and Computer Systems Engineer with academic excellence from UTEL in Mexico. He is specialized in Incident Response Centers by INCIBE, OAS and the University of León. He has the international certifications CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) from (ISC) 2, C | EH (Certified Ethical Hacker) from EC-Council, ISO 27001 Senior Lead Implementer from PECB, ISO 27032 Lead Cybersecurity Manager, ITIL, among others. others. He is a Professor of the Master's Degree in Cybersecurity at the Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico, of the Master's Degree in Cybersecurity at UTH Florida (United States), of the Diploma in Cybersecurity at the UCOM in Paraguay and of the Diploma in Cybersecurity at the Universidad ORT Uruguay. He is currently the CEO of the Cybersecurity consulting company Krav Maga Hacking with headquarters in Montevideo and Bogotá. He is also the CEO of Lugapel, a wholesale distributor of solutions for DevSecOps. He has worked in multinational companies such as Accenture, PwC, Indra, TCS, McAfee, Foundstone since 2005, always in Cybersecurity roles. He has been leader of the OWASP Uruguay chapter for 10 years and coordinator of the OWASP Latam Tour regional event and has been named OWASP Web Application Security Person of the year 2015. Coordinator for Uruguay of the Industrial Cybersecurity Center (CCI).
